Final Note

Overall this 36-year crusade has taken 177 musicians or 8.85 bands. That alone is not much turnover and says a lot about how dedicated the musicians are in this orchestra to play for you each week. Further testaments to our cause are the countless subs in the DFW metroplex that have taken up the slack. These musicians come from several strong local University jazz programs in the area, such as UNT, UTA and TCU. These subs come in like some of our regular members driving up to 100 miles round trip and sighting reading the book.
